Grow a Garden Value List: Every Crop by Rarity
This Grow a Garden value list ranks every major crop by rarity, from Common carrots to Prismatic Burning Buds. Base values are community estimates that reset your starting point before weight and mutations are added. To turn any base value into the real price of your crop, run the numbers through the Grow a Garden calculator and read the exact total.
How to read this value list
A value list gives you a starting number, not a final price. Every crop has a base value at its base weight, and the real sell price grows from there. Two things move the number the most: how heavy the crop is and which mutations it carries.
Base value is the floor, not the ceiling
The base value is what a crop is worth at its minimum weight with no mutations. A heavier crop of the same type is worth far more, because value scales with weight squared. A tiny mutation stack can multiply that number again.
Rarity sets the tier, weight sets the price
Rarity tells you which tier a crop sits in, but two crops in the same tier can sell for very different amounts. A high base value in a low tier, like the Orange Tulip, can beat a low base value in a higher tier once weight is added.

The table below lists community-estimated base values in Sheckles at each crop's base weight. Numbers are estimates and can shift after events or balance updates, so treat them as a guide and confirm the live total in the calculator.

Common and Uncommon crops
These are your early game earners. Carrots and Strawberries are cheap but grow fast, so they stay useful for quick Sheckles. The Orange Tulip is the surprise here, with a high base value for such a light crop.
Rare and Legendary crops
This is where trading value starts to climb. Watermelon, Pumpkin, and Bamboo carry strong base values and reach heavy weights, which makes them reliable mid game picks for both selling and trading.
Mythical, Divine, and Prismatic crops
The top tiers hold the highest base values in the game. Mushroom, Ember Lily, and Burning Bud can reach enormous prices once weight and mutations are added, which is why they anchor most high value trades.
Turning a value list number into a real price
To price your own crop, you need more than the base value. You need its weight and its mutations. The site value model multiplies four things together, and you can see each step broken out in the Grow a Garden crop value calculator.
The weight multiplier
Value scales with the square of weight divided by base weight. A crop at double its base weight is worth about four times as much, before any mutation is applied. Heavy crops are the single biggest source of value.
The mutation multiplier
Growth mutations like Gold and Rainbow multiply value on their own, and environmental mutations like Wet, Frozen, and Shocked stack on top. A full breakdown of how these combine lives in our Grow a Garden mutations guide.
Which crops are best to grow for value
The best crop depends on your goal. For steady income you want fast, cheap crops. For big trades you want heavy, high base value crops that can carry mutations. We break down the strongest picks in the best crops to grow guide.
Best for quick Sheckles
Fast growing Common and Uncommon crops give you the most Sheckles per minute early on, because you can replant them often and sell in bulk.
Best for trading
Heavy Mythical, Divine, and Prismatic crops with mutations hold the most trade value. Check any offer with the trade tab before you accept.
